South Australia's Largest Infrastructure Project

South Australia Health has initiated the development of the New Royal Adelaide Hospital. The planned 800 bed hospital will cater to over 80,000 patients per year. Included in the development is 40 technical suites (operating theatres), 100 day beds and a commercial precinct. Further to this it will be South Australia’s greenest hospital with many sustainable initiatives.

CDC was approached as the primary commercial plumbing contractor for this ambitious health project due to an outstanding record in delivering complex health facilities with specialised equipment and high standards of workmanship. Due to the scale of the development planning of the project has been paramount with CDC creating an independent project management team.

A project handbook, specific induction and programs have been implemented to ensure a smooth delivery. Development is currently underway and is due for completion June 2016.
